Ok blimey I've been busy

Also made the harness too, everything in this picture except the blouse and my beautiful girfriend is made my me
the jepack also has a fire extinguisher in the rocket which fires out powder, using the trigger on the front of the harness, this detaches and can be held at arms length, heres a video of the test for the trigger, I'l upload the final video and images when I have time to take them

spruced up my alarm clock a tad

made this robot a while ago, but never finished it, and recently i bought the alarm clock, so the thought process of putting the clock in the robot, i had my alarm next to my bed on my desk (bad idea) this was too easy to turn it off in the morning so i decided to put it further away so id have to get out of bed, and the corner of my desk i was thinking of putting it in was all filled up by the robot, and then i had a light bulb moment and put the clock in the robots belly :D which not only gave the robot character, it also made me want to finish it instantly, so i painted it red and coloured bits in with a gold paint pen, and altered the belly so the clock would fit in, and here it is :)

just a quick one this week

parceling up my brothers birthday card, thought id make it look pretty too haha :P
cant show you whats inside because its a suprose and i dont want him to accidentally see it... sorry peeps

i thought id take a picture of the stamps ive made too, they look a tad messy but they do work, i mostly cut them by hand with a lino cutting tool but im thinking of laser cutting some, i have laser cutters at my uni so im going to test that sometime.

Since the news of Toy Story 3 and me having a mini birthday party the weekend just gone, i figured i'd make another costume, and since im into all that spacey stuff i did buzz lightyear. made from one 66cm bell shaped plant pot , a heap of cardboard, bottle tops, spray paint caps, the use of a dremel, hot glue gun and a lick of paint...this is what i managed to do in a few days
So who knows what il make next, except i do, my next event thats planned is Bloodstock music festival, and il show you what i make for that when is done... as for now, buzz lightyear is enough for me

'HOME made' Skittles Costume

The other day at uni i saw a poster on a wall advertising a party called the 'Anything But Clothes' party ,which set my creativity into motion as it ment that i could make another costume :D woop! on the poster were a few pictures, some people dressed as 'Spongebob Squarepants',  a girl with an Adam and Eve themed outfit, and two guys one had a printed 'Kit-Kat' t-shirt and the other was in a cardboard box costume with 'Yorkie' painted on it, so i thought that food would be a good theme as there is tones of types and it would be funny. At first my friends and i were going to make biscuit costumes, me as a 'Jammy Dodger' but after thought i didn't like the idea and i was on the search for a new idea, still on the food theme, so i thought about the 'Kit-Kat' and 'Yorkie' guys and searched for sweet packaging. Loads of ideas arose but none quite as appealing to me as a bag of 'Skittles'. i went to the shops and bought a bag ...or two :) and began making the costume, after about 12-13 hours i had finished and this is how it looked :D

We got to the party and it was pretty good, everyone in costume. Untill i got there i had no idea that there was a prize for the best costume, and by gum I WON! :D i couldnt believe it, after buying a round of drinks i was presented my prize,(a night for me plus one at a premier inn) i was extatic...imagine how excited i would be if i won the lottery haha :) so this is my 'Skittles' costume. Please let me know what you think in the comments below :)
